I'm Lars.
I don't believe people need to be fixed. I believe they need the right conditions to grow, contribute and perform at their best.
Throughout my career, I have been fascinated by one question: What allows people, teams and organisations to grow beyond what they thought was possible?
For more than twenty years, I worked in international healthcare organisations across Medical Affairs, Marketing, Commercial and Leadership. I led global teams and worked in complex environments where high expectations and performance pressure were part of everyday business. Those years taught me that performance matters — but that sustainable performance is rarely created by simply pushing people harder.
Today, I work with leaders and teams navigating complexity, transformation and high expectations. I challenge assumptions, make invisible dynamics visible and create spaces for honest conversations, reflection and practical action. I combine analytical thinking with curiosity, empathy and humour.
My background is unusual for a coach. I started as a scientist and hold a PhD in Cell Biology and Immunology. Science taught me to think rigorously and understand complex systems. Leadership taught me that organisations are ultimately human systems.
My personal purpose is connecting with people on what truly matters, so they can pursue their dreams and contribute to a better world.
Originally from Northern Germany, I now live near Berlin with my family. Outside work, you'll most likely find me outdoors — hiking, kayaking, fishing, cooking or somewhere by the sea. The ocean has always been my place to think.
Creating the conditions for people, teams and organisations to thrive is what inspires my work.
